Depois de anunciar Dead Rising 2 no início do mês, a Capcom anuncia agora através do Xbox Live um novo título, a sequela de Lost Planet.

O jogo irá decorrer dez anos após a prequela, irá apresentar novos ambientes devido a alterações no clima, onde podemos ver selvas juntamente com alguns cenários cobertos de neve como no primeiro. Vamos poder contar também com várias novidades como um modo cooperativo, um sistema de cobertura como em Gears of War em que será possível usar escudos, e os mechs vão ter lugar para outra pessoa de forma a usar também as metralhadoras.

A equipa vai ser composta por Kenji Oguro, como director, e Jun Takeuchi, como produtor, desta sequela que irá correr no motor MT-Framework 2.0.

Por enquanto Lost Planet 2 não tem data de lançamento.

Novos detalhes de Lost Planet 2

Depois de anunciar através do Xbox Live o novo Lost Planet 2, a Capcom promete revelar mais novidades e detalhes específicos sobre o seu novo título já amanhã.

Muitos foram os que ficaram com vontade de saber mais e os jogadores PC e Playstation 3 ficaram na dúvida se o jogo será exclusivo Xbox 360 ou então se ele irá sair nas outras plataformas que receberam o primeiro. Tais informações e outras mais, vão ser reveladas amanhã quando a Capcom distribuir o comunicado de imprensa oficial.

No trailer de apresentação foi possível constatar que Lost Planet 2 terá ambientes variados, foi possível ver uma selva repleta de vegetação, vai apresentar modo cooperativo e terá um sistema de cobertura como visto em Gears of War.

As novidades prometem ser muitas e nós cá esperamos.

Capcom revela que Lost Planet 2 vai buscar inspiração a COD4

Em entrevista ao site Videogamer, Christian Svensson, vice-presidente da Capcom, revelou mais alguns detalhes de Lost Planet 2.

Depois do anúncio de ontem com o respectivo lançamento do trailer no Xbox Live, a produtora afirmava que o jogo iria oferecer um modo a solo mais profundo, um modo cooperativo para 4 jogadores e uma alargada campanha em multijogador nunca antes vista.

Durante a entrevista Svensson quis alargar um pouco mais o anúncio dizendo que Jun Takeuchi, produtor de Lost Planet 2, e a sua equipa tiveram a ver e a anotar aquilo que correu bem e o que correu mal em Lost Planet 1, e de como poderiam tornar o segundo jogo ainda melhor. Uma vez que a equipa não quer que Lost Planet 2 seja mais uma sequela mas sim um jogo de grande qualidade.

Svensson revelou também que os fãs vão poder contar com elementos que marcaram presença em Call of Duty 4.

"Takeuchi é um grande fã e jogador de Call of Duty 4, tal como o resto da equipa. Por isso penso que vamos poder ver algumas influências que foram retiradas do jogo."

No entanto, Svesson garantiu aos fãs do jogo original que muitas coisas que fizeram de Lost Planet um sucesso de vendas, vão marcar presença no segundo jogo.

Para já ainda não se sabe quando é que Lost Planet 2 vai ser lançado, no entanto mais novidades serão ser reveladas nos próximos meses.

Realemente um otimo jogo, gostei do primeiro, e estou ancioso pra jogar segundo tambem.
