A Sierra anunciou que se encontra em produção mais um Spyro. Este novo título da série Spyro vai marcar presença na PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Wii e DS sob o nome The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. Este jogo está a cargo da Étranges Libellules, e estão de volta as vozes dos actores Elijah Wood, Gary Oldman, Christina Ricci, Blair Underwood, Wayne Brady e Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill.
